I’m really like with this Hurley bag. It holds up well when it’s packed full. I like that it zips closed and even has a little inside pocket that zips too—just the right size for cards or cash. It’s roomy enough for a stack of books, my wallet, and some extras, so I’ve been using it for the library, snacks, sometimes shopping. It’s practical and well made.*It’s not rattan or canvas. It’s polyester, easy to wipe clean and holds up well at the beach.

This Hurley Rattan Beach Tote is a well-made, versatile bag that’s perfect for the beach and road trips. It’s made of thick, durable 100% polyester with a tan shell-print exterior, white canvas lining, and sturdy shoulder straps. The roomy interior easily fits snacks, books, and essentials, plus it has a zippered top and a small zip pocket inside—ideal for cash, cards, cellphones, or keys. Despite its light color, dirt wipes off easily, and it holds up well to both handwashing and delicate machine cycles (always air dry). While I wish the straps were padded for carrying heavier loads, I still find myself reaching for this tote as my go-to trip bag thanks to its quality stitching, lightweight feel, and practical design.

Can Hold A Lot, Great Quality Bag
The Hurley Rattan Beach Tote Bag is really well made. It is a little thicker than the typical reusable grocery bag or even the typical canvas bag. It is 100% polyester. The straps are thick. They are also short, however, as a short person I did not mind that. It has a zipper and inside is a little pocket that also zips, it is ideal for holding a license and a credit card or cash. I liked that this could fit a few books, my wallet, and some other items. It is a pretty roomy bag. I have been using it for my weekly library trips and it is ideal for that purpose. I also think it is ideal for packing up with car items for a road trip — coloring books, snacks, pens, crayons, and small toys. I do wish the strap was padded for comfort when I am carrying heavy items in this bag. Overall, it is nicely made and good quality. I certainly find myself reaching for this bag frequently.

For Solo people
This bag is not ideal for more than 1 person, it’s more of an elevated shopping tote size than full blown beach bag. I live in Florida so have high use on our beach bags and this won’t make the cut for regular use unless I’m by myself. It’s not insulated, but the fabric won’t allow sand to fall out. It’s not super large so you might only fit 1 towel plus your items, definitely not more than 2 unless they are thin Turkish towels. It’s a nice enough quality bag, but it’s fairly impractical unless you are just using it as a haul around bag or are solo. You could fit a coverup, towel, sunscreen, a book, bottle of water & snack, and sunglasses comfortably in it.
