Very comfortable and stylish boots – great for anyone with foot issues!
Excellent Boots! I have foot issues and they were great. I hiked a number of miles over several days and had no issues whatsoever. They were slip resistant on rocks and kept my feet warm and dry. The lack of burning foot pain was the biggest win for me. I would highly recommend these boots.

So comfortable
I am a large plus size person. In my previous line of work, I used to be on my feet most of the day. These were my work boots. They are so comfortable and have so much support. I wore them during winter to keep my feet warm and still look a little stylish. They are esthetically pleasing and I want to get more in different colors.Do not pass these up. Incredible comfort in these boots and non slip. Good quality.

Highly recommend
Used these for a week of hiking in Glaciar national park. Perfect medium width, wide enough to be comfortable but didn’t feel like my foot was moving around. Didnt need to be broken in, comfortable from the first hike. Nice wide and sturdy bottom, was even okay for sliding through slush and snow. So impressed.

Not terrible
These are stylish and start out comfortable. I have been wearing them on a concrete floor for 40+ hours per week and they do lose that cushiony feel after about a month or so. Purchased some heel supports and with those they do feel better, but some days I just can’t wait to get my feet out of them. My feet are pretty worn though, so if you have no feet problems you may get longer comfort. They do support the ankle well, I’m up and down off a forklift alot and they keep me confident that I won’t sprain or twist anything. The laces are good and tough. I think 4 stars is a fair review, if the insoles were a little better it would be a five.

Comfy, waterproof, warm
Hiked up Vatnajökull in Iceland and didn’t get cold feet. Easy enough to wear while walking around Reykjavík (though I could’ve done some calf exercises before going). Super comfy, sturdy, no blisters, endured heavy rain and snow with no slipping or leakage. Might be getting in brown as well

NOT the boots Timberland use to make. These are JUNK!
WHAT has happened to Timberland quality?? I am a longtime and very loyal Timberland customer who has purchased and worn at least eight pairs of these White Ledge hikers over the years. They are my daily footwear for work and play and have never let me down. Until now… My new pair arrived yesterday and the difference in quality was stark and immediately apparent (aside from the obvious new “Metro” appearance). These boots are now extremely narrow in fit. The leather is so stiff that it cuts into the sides of your feet as they bend mid stride. And there is an absolute lack of padding in the tongue and sidewalls. These are just total junk as compared to the previous model. In application, the NEW White Ledge hikers feel more like wearing cheap cardboard boxes as opposed to real boots. I am beyond disappointed in the poor fit, dumbed down quality and the fact that Timberland has apparently gone the way of making “girl boots” that resemble hiking boots, but lack both substance and functionality. Bottom line…. if you’re looking for quality boots or are trying to purchase the White Ledge hikers of yesteryear, DON’T buy these. You’ll just have to pay extra to return them.

Love these. Make sure you spray them good with waterproofing shoe spray and they stay fairly water resistant.Comfy, look good.Fit slightly big, so if you are in between 1/2 sizes go down.
