Easy, effective and cost saving!
Pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality and results. Was quite nervous as I have only gone to the salon in the past for laser hair removal, and it was pretty painful and expensive. Wan’t sure how an at home device would do – but overall, the results have been very impressive. I have used for 2 sessions now and my lip looks great – I do struggle a bit with being precise with the machine since you are not supposed to go over the same area twice, but where I have hit has been very effective. A few more sessions might get rid of the hair altogether, which is money very well spent. It is saving me so much money and pain. It has worked great on the armpit and bikini line as well – I think a few more sessions is all I will need with maybe some maintenance. It hasnt worked quite as quickly in those areas, but I do see a reduction in hair and I have no ingrown, which is so nice!It was pretty easy to use – the videos they provide are incredibly helpful. I was very nervouse so followed everything exactly – including waiting 24 hours after testing. I do have the ideal skin and hair color for the device so I didnt have any trouble with the machine working for me as well. I do know that can impact efficacy.

Easy with real results fast!
I absolutely loved using this. It gave me results I never expected from the get go. After my first two uses I have already seen big results on my under arms and bikini line. The four attachments are smartly designed to fit every body area comfortably and make the whole process feel easy and tailored to each spot. The SmartSkin sensing technology feels safe and gentle, I really love how it helps you find your level and the indicator light when it’s time to click. Overall this feels like a salon-quality experience in my home without the price tag (or the pain I had with professional lazering) I am genuinely impressed with how comfortable this has been and easy out of the box!

Super easy and effective!
I’m loving my new Phillips Lumia IPL. I’m new to IPL hair removal and it offers great video content that gets you onboarded to the device and how to use it. The device auto adapts to your skin but also gives you complete control to dial the intensity of your treatment up or down so it feels really safe. It comes with multiple heads so you can use it on all the areas that matter! My first try was to use it on my underarms and within two sessions I saw a remarkable difference with a lot less hair growing back between shaves. I’ll be using it on my bikini line, without hesitation, next. It also has a nice long cord, which made it convenient to reach various outlets in my bathroom. When I think about how much I’ve invested in waxing over the years, the value of the device is well worth it!

Easy to use, with clear steps to take away the anxiety
I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly easy it was to use this IPL hair removal device from Philips Lumea! I don’t have a ton of free time as a mom of 6 kids, so having something that is quick, easy, and fits in my routine is a must. This checks all those boxes. Additionally, it didn’t hurt! I was super worried that this would be painful (like it feels most hair removal methods can be) but it was not painful in the slightest. My biggest qualm was needing to plan accordingly to not wear deodorant for 24 hours after performing the hair removal treatment, but that’s pretty standard across the board.The instructions are super thorough and really make this so its impossible to do incorrectly. I love that as it took away all the nerves associated with this since I am far from a professional. I also really liked that the attachments had a small photo that depicted which area each attachment was for. Again, it does a great job of removing the guess work.A couple very small things that would make it even better: 1.) Give the case a handle. I thought that it had a handle, but it was just a fabric hinge and it really threw me through a loop. 2.) A small cord organizer would be amazing for keeping it easy to put away after youre done. Sometimes the cord can be a little rambunctious and make it a bit more difficult to put the top back on.Overall, this is a wonderful option at home to help thin out your hair and get yourself a bit of self care with ease.

Great solution for at home hair removal
I’ve just started using the Philips Lumea 9000 Series IPL Hair Removal Device and so far I’m really impressed. I have not had previous experience with at home hair removal other than with a razor. This was really easy to use, even as a beginner. I tried it on my underarms first and the process was quick and didn’t hurt (which I was thinking it would).I love that the device can be used on multiple areas (legs, underarms, and bikini area). The packaging is well thought out, the different attachment heads are clearly marked with icons to match the area of the body they are intended to be used on.Single treatments are fast (I started with a smaller area) and I appreciate that there’s a good amount of time between sessions making it easy to fit into a busy routine. I’m excited to see the results over time and feel confident continuing with the treatments. So far, it feels like a good investment in at home hair removal.

I’m not satisfied with this laser machine. I’ve tried almost all of the modes, and although my hair is dark, it’s still not effective. Sometimes I apply it to the same spot 10 times, but it still doesn’t recognize my hair. It has already been a month, so I’m no longer able to return it.

Can’t believe you can get these results at home
This is the second hair removal device I have purchased and I find it to be far superior to the alternative, nood. I would even go as far as saying that it is nearly as effective as in-office laser hair removal. It is super easy to use and I was shocked that you only have to go over the area once per session and use it every 2 weeks. My other device requires to go over the area 3 times per session and do multiple session each week. It very quiet to use which is great because I can watch tv while mindlessly using it. I have already seen significant results in only a few sessions. I highly, highly recommend. My only critique is that you can’t use it on skin that isn’t flat (shins, ankles) or very small area (toe/knuckle).
