Love these Jars! We use them to store ground coffee, magnesium powder, creating powder and Himalayan salt for our daily morning cocktails. Does have the horrible chemical smell. Takes some work to get it out. Vinegar method worked.
The glass part is really cute, but the sealing gasket has a chemical smell that can’t be removed by the baking soda or heating methods. I researched and could not find a supplier for these gaskets, even using AI. I have ordered a sheet of food grade silicon that has reviews that said people cut their own gaskets successfully. I will update if it works.UPDATE: Ha! I had tried and saved the baggie of vinegar and I put the gaskets for a second round. The 2nd time worked! So, if you do this method, just leave it in for more time or if necessary, overnight. I am very happy! I will still try cutting my own, because what does it mean that the odor goes away? Maybe the chemicals are still in the product?

Good glass containers with bamboo sealing lids. No more plastic
I was concerned because others said these broke easily. I guess they can but I had no issues. They were solidly packed and arrived without issues. I use them for pasta and other dry goods I need to store since we don’t use an entire box of pasta for a meal. The seal seems adequate as I haven’t had anything go stale. I only hand wash though. I would buy from this company again.

It Just Makes Sense
Space saving, holds enough if whatever for a family of four and helps organize our cabinet. The glass is thinner so being rough is ill advised but ours is used to hold different flour readers and different types of sugar. It keeps the food we are storing fresh and is highly functional.
