I love my bag! It is very functional, spacious and has lots of pockets. The black is vibrant which makes the bag very stylish. The quality is good. I wish the hooks that hold the strap were metal instead of plastic but overall its a great travel bag.

Nice bag / comparison to Vera Bradley Compact Weekender
I got this bag as an alternative to a very nice Vera Bradley compact weekender quilted bag. This bag attracted me because of the padded laptop sleeve (which the VB bag doesn’t have) and which I thought might be handy for weekend trips or as a carry-on. To my delight, my 15.6-inch Samsung laptop fit in just perfectly into the special laptop sleeve, a separate zipped compartment that also includes some space for peripherals (space to stash your wristpad, mouse, cords, etc.) plus some mesh pockets for pens or small notebooks, etc. The main compartment of the Bagsmart bag is comparable to the VB bag. There is a big open space with some mesh pockets on one side and a zippered wet pocket on the other (good space for 3-oz toiletry bag for carry-on situations). The VB bag by contrast has mesh pockets on both sides. The Bagsmart bag is approximately an inch taller and two inches longer, so the overall size / interior space beats the VB bag, without making it a markedly larger bag. It should still fit under an airplane seat. The Bagsmart bag and the VB bag are similar in terms of having a trolley sleeve and a number of zipped or open exterior pockets for stashing boarding passes, small snacks, sunglasses, etc. The Bagsmart bags beats the VB bag in terms of having a stretchy open pocket on either end sizes for drinks, a bottle, or a collapsible umbrella (the VB bag just has one). Oh, and it comes with a little shoe bag (nothing fancy, but a nice touch).Overall, the Bagsmart bag slightly beats the Vera Bradley bag in terms of size (slightly larger), exterior pockets (one more), and the laptop compartment (the biggest plus). The Vera Bradley bag beats the Bagsmart bag in being of noticeably better quality, with nicer fabric, prettier interior design, metal rather than plastic hooks for the shoulder strap, and nicer zipper pulls (though both have very similar, high-quality zippers with a smooth feel). Both bags are pretty–I chose lovely designs that I enjoy looking at for both. I love flowers and paisleys, so it’s hard to go wrong with either bag here.In sum, I give the edge to the Bagsmart bag because the laptop compartment is just too great of a feature. It enables me to stow my laptop without requiring any jury-rigging or, even worse, lugging a separate laptop carrier; that’s going to be super useful for me, both for car trips and air travel. Although I enjoy the superior quality of the VB bag, the versatility and usefulness of the Bagsmart bag will almost surely cause me to choose it when I’m getting ready to head out. Finally, the fact that the Bagsmart bag is *almost* as pretty as the VB bag–yet costs just a third of the price, or less–means it’s the clear winner in terms of affordability and bang for the buck, as well.

Great Personal Item, Overnight or gym bag.
Loved this rugged little duffle. It’s slightly smaller than your average personal item bag allowed on AA so that’s a good thing. Fits under AA seats nicely, Even the commuter planes. it doesn’t have a shape to it when empty. It’s very soft and looks washable.Wouldn’t call it a weekender bag though as it is a bit small once you pack what you need for a weekend (clothes, bath, hair & makeup products, shoes etc) but with that said, it’s comfy to travel with because of how inexpensive and flexible it is. If it gets dirty, you can probably wash it.it arrives folded flat. You’ll think it’s a tshirt.. but give it a chance.Has a nice padded area for your laptop and plenty of pockets. I traveled with two computers in that compartment and it was fine. I packed a big thick sweater I was already taking w/me in the big compartment facing the computer side that wasn’t padded to protect the second laptop but if you are careful with your bag you don’t need to even do that.it is shapeless kind of, but oddly that’s also why i like it.I don’t expect it to last forever but for the price, it’s great for travel, overnight or gym use.Zippers are good quality. Fits plenty of stuff for the size too and has elastic pockets on each side for your water bottles. If you need a bag for your personal item to go with your carry-on, this is quite a good option. I opted for this bag on my most recent trip over a larger more expensive personal item /duffle that is quite boxy. I prefer the lack of structure of this bag because you can squeeze it into tight overhead bins or under the airplane’s seat that way.The sleeve to secure it over your carry-on handle has a zipper pocket too. I used this quite a bit.if it’s not full completely it has no shape though, so it won’t sit very elegantly over your suitcase. I don’t care but if you do, keep that in mind. otherwise, great purchase for the price. will eventually be a gym bag. i like it for that too. I got the gray to match my existing luggage but in retrospect, I should’ve picked the black.Hope that helps you 🙂

I purchased the medium sized bag in grey. Was larger than expected. I’ve only used twice so far, for flights. Was using as a purse plus. Seems like good quality. Fits under the plane seat. Has many pockets and fit our 2 tablets, some personal items, a wallet & snacks with a large amount of room to spare. Would work great as a weekender bag. I may purchase a purse insert/organizer to use with it. These two permanent straps went over my shoulder. My husband used the adjustable, removable shoulder strap. Was quite happy with it and would recommend.

Everything that Bagsmart makes is gorgeous! I’m a huge fan. I got this in Navy blue and it matches my carry on luggage beautifully. The bag is made from a gorgeous quilted material and it’s large enough to fit everything you need for your personal item. It’ll fit under an airplane seat. And I love the sleeve it has to hook onto the handle of my luggage. Gorgeous bag!
