Great poles
These poles assemble quickly and easily. They are plenty strong. I’m 5′-11″, 260lbs and had no issues with them collapsing or any other issue then with putting all my weight on them. The cork grips feel nice to my hands. I have a drop foot so balance is an issue for me. With these poles I was able to hike through rough terrain without difficulty. I haven’t used the baskets yet so I cannot speak for their functionality. I would definitely buy these again

Great for Ice and Snow
I bought these because I couldn’t find my older pair I used in Antarctica. Of course, the minute they arrived my older pair surfaced but decided to keep them as they are really nice. I am leaving for the Arctic next week and will be great for the icy and snowy conditions I am expecting. Easy to put together and break apart for traveling.

Trekking Poles adjust well.
These pôles are of good quality and adjust so at 6’2” they are tall enough for me, and adjust enough for my 5’2” wife. My only complaint is her hands are not strong enough to reléase the catch to collapse them.

Great Support for Hiking — Just Be Sure to Follow the Setup Instructions
I recently purchased these trekking poles from Thristride, and overall, I’m very happy with them. They’ve been incredibly helpful for maintaining balance and giving that extra push on uneven terrain. Lightweight yet sturdy, they’ve made my hikes much more comfortable and secure.One note for future buyers: it’s important to follow the setup instructions carefully—especially the part about extending the last section of the pole. You need to pull it until the “stop” mark is visible and it clicks into place. If you don’t do this step correctly, the pole won’t lock and will feel unstable. Once I figured that out, everything worked perfectly.Big thanks to Victor and the Thristride team for their thoughtful follow-up and excellent customer service. It’s always nice to support a company that stands behind its product. Highly recommend these poles, especially if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable option for hiking!
