Excellent Rehab Tool with Versatile Pilates Ring and Three Levels of Resistance Bands
This Pilates set has been a fantastic addition to my home rehab routine after an ankle sprain. The set includes a dual-grip Pilates ring and three fabric hip resistance bands (light, medium, and heavy), and an inflatable ball with air pump. All in soft pastel colors that look nice and don’t feel cheap.I’ve primarily been using the resistance loop bands for physical therapy exercises recommended by my therapist—things like clamshells, side-lying leg lifts, and monster walks to strengthen the muscles around my ankle and hip. The fabric material is a big plus: unlike latex bands, these don’t roll up, pinch skin, or slide down during use. They’ve held up really well over daily sessions for several weeks with no signs of fraying, stretching out, or losing resistance. The different strength levels (clearly labeled Light, Medium, and Heavy) allow me to progress gradually as my ankle gets stronger—starting with the light teal band and now comfortably using the medium pink one.The Pilates ring itself is sturdy with soft foam handles on both sides (inside and outside), making it easy to grip for inner/outer thigh work, core exercises, or gentle upper-body squeezes. The resistance feels appropriate—not too stiff, but enough to make you work. It’s lightweight and doesn’t dig into the skin.Everything feels well-made for the price point, they are easy to use and the colors are motivating rather than boring black or bright neon. Easy to store and travel with too.Overall, this set has been exactly what I needed for safe, progressive ankle rehab at home, while also opening the door to full Pilates workouts once I’m cleared. Highly recommend for anyone doing PT for lower body injuries or looking for a versatile, non-slip resistance band and ring combo.

My wife always has me on the lookout for exercise equipment so when I saw the GymYard Pilates Ring Set, it was instantly in my cart. The set seems extremely versatile and offers a portable option for daily exercise. It includes a ring, 3 resistance bands, ball and a pump. The Pilates Ring is designed for toning, sculpting and strengthening arms, legs and core muscles and has padded non slip handles. The Resistance Bands are lightweight, durable and color coded for light, medium and heavy resistance. The bands are  comfortable, a great width specially designed to eliminate slipping and rolling. The Ball is made of durable PVC and comes with a hand pump and is a good sizeed when inflated.Overall, this set is beginner friendly but also great for the experienced Pilates fans. The multiple tools included in this set help target specific areas of the body and are good tools to help aid in your workout routine. My wife really loves her GymYard Pilates Set and uses it regularly; the set is a great value and a must have part of her routine.

Resistance bands are good, ring is pretty stiff, ball is cheap
I ordered this Pilates set for my wife (and maybe me) to help her avoid osing strength and flexibility after retiring from an active job. We’ve never done Pilates before and we thought it might be good to use this set to try various exercises before either committing ourselves to Pilates further or trying a different type of workout. The set came with a ring, three resistance bands, a ball, and an air pump for the ball. The bands were very good. The are well made out of elastic cloth and look like they will last for a while. There are three of them, each with a different color, labeled “Light,” “Medium,” and “Heavy.” The bands also come with an instruction booklet with some suggested exercises. The ring didn’t come with any instructions, although there are many exercises online. It looks well constructed. Although it is hard to tell how long it will last under frequent use, the fit and finish are good and it looks sturdy. It’s definitely good enough to get us started. However, the ring is very stiff, and it is more that my wife can handle for many of the ring exercises we saw online. It’s about right for me. I realized it could be a little dangerous. I was squeezing it between my thighs, and let one side slip. The spring force shot it across the room at pretty high speed. It’s good that no one was standing there and that it didn’t hit anything breakable. Be careful with it.The ball is pretty cheap. It has a plug that pulls out to reveal a 1/8 hole where the tip of the pump fits in. The plug is hard to remove. Once you break your fingernails getting it out, you can pump up the ball, but there’s no way to tell how much pressure you’re giving. When done, you have to put a finger over the hole to hold the air in while you try to put in the plug as fast as you can. Still, the ball is good enough to get started. I think a playground ball about the same size would work just as well or better. The pump is pretty cheap too, and I don’t think it will last so long. The ring and the bands function well for their purpose, and even with the cheap ball, I think this set is worth the price. It’s enough to get us started on Pilates and see if we want to take it further, probably with a certified instructor.
