Great exercise on a budget
I have been dealing with health issues from long covid so i gave not been able to leave my home much for months now. I purchased this as an attempt to get in some exercise and to help me lose the 10 lbs i gained being out of work for now. I have been using it 3 to 4 times a day doing 100 reps per set, doing 50 with overhand grip and 50 with underhand grip. It is a great workout that affects calves, thighs, back, shoulders, neck, back the the arms, biceps, and forearms. It was very simple to assemble and is small enough that the size is perfect for my apartment. The cost is very low as an entry level quiet rowing machine. The quality of the machine is pretty great in my opinion, holds up well. Overall the performance of this machine is fantastic. I have had it for weeks now and the only wear i see on it is a little bit on the paint where the seat travels back and forth. I know others have complained about the seats size and comfort… i have had no issue with the seat at all and find it plent comfortable. The resistance bands are covered in woven fabric that seems good quality, havent noticed any fraying at all. The bar grip is good too, padded on both sides and easy to grip. The readout is fairly simple on the display so very easy to understand.

Great value, great little machine!
Great little machine for in home use. Takes up small space and is easy to move around. Despite this being powered by 3 bungees, its resistance is quite strong. So much so, I had to disconnect one of the 3 bungees. It’s not especially designed for disconnecting, so I had to un knot the end and then left it loose so I now can row along with Apple fitness videos for 20 and 30m. I will eventually reconnect the third bungee once my stamina increases. I am 56, not “fit” but not un-fit. Am very happy with this rower. And bonus, you can’t beat the price for what you get. Very functional. I’m happy with the purchase.

Decent Entry Level
Edit: customer service has reached out to me and has been very helpful. New parts were shipped out at no charge to replace the broken ones. This is a great, light weight, entry level rowing machine.Set up is easy to assemble, and light enough to move around easily. The resistance, even at the max amount is still less than what I would like. The sensor on my unit does not work, so the display only reads 0 the whole time. Overall, its worth the cheap cost of the machine.

Rowing machine with a simple utilitarian design that works
[Apologies in advance if this review sounds crabby, I’m just sick of sellers unloading random junk on us instead of exactly what’s advertised.][INITIAL NAGS]Right out of the box there are discrepancies between the item advertised and what you actually get.For example, the seat in the manual is contoured, but the seat you get is a plain pad with no curves or anything. It’s serviceable, but doesn’t offer as secure a feeling as having the contours would.The major one is that while the listing says it will hold a 300 pound person, the manual says only someone up to 265 pounds can safely use the machine. That’s a huge difference, I’d be irate if I had to lug this thing on my back all the way to the post office to return it because the seller straight up lied.[BUILD QUALITY]Anyway, the rowing machine itself has a simple utilitarian design, it doesn’t make much noise, and doesn’t take up a ton of space. The legs can fold in to store it upright and it has two small wheels to tilt and roll it around.Build quality seems okay. I have to wonder, how much do we trust this inexpensive equipment to withstand the force of “400 pounds of resistance” at the maximum resistance setting? I mean, even the military uses inexpensive stamped sheet metal equipment in the field and it does pretty well, so maybe this will be fine.Be sure to check the welds, bands, and connection points for any damage or shoddy work. You do not want one of those bands snapping and lacerating your face or neck.[WORKOUT]With that out of the way, this rowing machine offers the best workout so far, I started sweating and feeling the burn after only a few minutes, and it only gets better from here. The bands offer far higher resistance than the piston type machine I used and the rail is at a steeper angle to work your legs more. You can also put a book or something under the high end of the machine to make it even steeper. (I think adding some kind of height adjustment to the feet on that end would be very useful)Learn to do a proper rowing motion first though. Training Tall on YouTube explains stuff well. Don’t push your legs all the way out too early, make sure you’re not pushing off the footrests with only the ball of your feet, that kind of thing.You really do work a lot of your muscles at once with the rowing motion, and you can target some by changing the grip position, the angle you pull at, locking your arms close to your chest to work the abs more, etc. Remember to have proper form so you don’t hurt yourself.I’ll probably end up keeping this rowing machine. The price is decent, it seems sturdy, and it’s definitely working as expected.

Works well. I really like the build and it feels like it could last a long time because there aren’t motors that can break down. It’s a little hard at first, I don’t think it’s very easy to reduce the load. But easy enough that you get used to it. Also folds away nicely. Good price.

Good but pedal cane broken in half. I am asking seller to send me the pedal replacement, no answer so far.Never got the pedal replacement. I have sent several emails to them.

Quick, simple assembly when I received it. Have been using it daily for about 10-15mins for 6 weeks and the seat stopper has almost all broken off. The right one started to come apart 3 weeks ago and fell off today along with a piece cracked off of the left stopper. These stoppers should have been made of rubber to absorb the impact of the seat bumping into the stoppers. Let’s see if anything else falls off. Electronic tracker stopped working after 3 months.
