The pictures don’t do this journal justice. It’s beautiful and was exactly what I was looking for. It’s so sturdy and well made with thick pages. I want one in every color!

Very nice for journaling. There is plenty of quality lined paper, and the spiraling is double and nice. The only thing I would note is that when opening the notebook at the very back, it is harder to do it because of the way the paper is in the spiral. Not a problem right now since I am going from the front. The material on the cover appears to be some kind of cloth. It is a very light color, and already has stains on the front (I should not eat and journal at the same time!) It is a great size. I had been using Gregg ruled notebooks for years (9X6), but they are less available in the larger size (more sheets) than they used to be and mostly only available in thin notepads, so I decided to change. Good size, and no bleed through so far. PS I think this would be fine for men also.

Great notebook
Exactly what I was looking for – nice thicker paper for note taking at Church – I use it with a sharpie pen and there’s no bleeding through to the next page. The spiral binding allows the notebook to sit flat so I can write easily. It also has a strap to hold it closed. It does have a line at the top of each page if you like to keep track of the date.

You Might Consider the Color!!
I really like these journals.This is my second one so far.I enjoy their stylish yet professional appearance. The pages are a good thickness. It has the date line at the top. The binding is very nice making it very easy to turn the page.I bought the white/cream color at first. I used it so much and carried it around to meetings, in my backpack, from place to place and it started to look a little soiled.So I chose the black this time and I like the look of it SO much better. Will stick with the darker colors going forward. If its something you plan to keep in one spot, or just take to meetings etc, no need to worry about the color.It’s a nice journal.

Overall Impression:• I love this book!• It’s really good quality.Durability and Design:• I spilled water on the cover like a cluts and it didn’t go through to the pages and ruin the book.• I also love the subtle beige color and gold accents.• The little strap that holds the book closed is nice, I can be rough with my books and this one seems well made enough to not snap on me.Functionality:• The amount of pages is great for someone like me who loves to write A LOT.• I’m currently using gel pens to write in it and the pens haven’t bled through the thick paper.• The book opens and closes with ease, I hate when I have a spiral book and the pages start ripping or getting caught in the spirals.Additional Features:• I love the ‘Date’ on the top of every page, front and back.• The little pocket in the back of the book was a perfect little touch for someone like me who likes to shove little things in my journals occasionally, like money or a souvenir from somewhere I’ve visited.Value for Money:• I caught it on sale so the price was just right.• I’m sure I’ll have it for years.Recommendation:• I recommended this book to a couple people already and I recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about buying it.• Just go for it, you won’t be disappointed.
