No Context!!
I purchased this years ago, and loved the silky smooth skin results.Everything I owned was stolen when I moved. I couldn’t afford to buy a second one, and tried a few of the hand tools for facial dermaplaning.With this Black Friday promo, I decided to buy the Dermaflash.WOW! Hands down, far, far superior results to the hand blade!I didn’t feel the same silky smooth skin with the hand blade, but I didn’t realize that until I used the Dermaflash again!I forgot how nice the results were!

I was skeptical at first but after hearing my friends rave I had to try this. My skin has literally transformed before my eyes. I cannot believe what came off of my face!! My serums just sink in now and my makeup has never looked this good. Im hooked!!

Stopped working
I delayed giving my honest review. I was quite disappointed with this device. I used this device probably 5 times are so and It stopped working. Unsure if the charging cord malfunction or the tool it self. I had it plugged in and charged for 30mins. Thinking that would be enough for a full battery charge. After the 30mins charge I go to use it nothing happened. I took extra care of this device making sure it was stored properly in a dry place.. I used this device gently never aggressive with it. This derma planning device is quite expensive for parts to fail. I am giving it two thumbs down for the lack of longevity uses. The device does what it says it does so that’s a plus. It was great at removing little fuzzy facial hair on my cheeks but other then that it is a really expensive electric face shaver . Save your money and purchase the manual derma planing face razor from Walmart or target. You will save a tone of money. Also, the replacement cartridges for this device are expensive too! Overall this was a poor decision purchase on my part. Would not recommend putting this in your cart or save for later to look at, just skip it. Look elsewhere for cheaper and better options.

Good purchase
Just came today and I jumped right in. It works well and took off those dark brown hairs that are stiff as well as the peach fuzz. I am glad I purchased this. Pretty easy to use. Capital One has a 40$ discount that I forgot to use. Oh well. I take minoxidil so have a lot of black hair that grows and i use this in between laser hair removal. Plus this gets everything that laser hair removal doesn’t. Good purchase.

Love this….BUT
Because of the price I didn’t want to like the DermaFlash. But it has won me over. If all you have is peach fuzz any razor will do. I’ve used several of the little cheap ones like the Tinkle. But if you have thicker whiskers on your upper lip and chin….you need to try the DermaFlash. I’ve done everything from electrolysis to tweezing and waxing. Ultimately I’d find myself with annoying and embarrassing thick whiskers on my lip and chin and no time to tweeze. If I used a razor like the Tinkle I’d have red, rashy skin that makeup couldn’t cover and that didn’t feel good. The DermaFlash is the answer to prayers for me. It takes the thick hair and the peach fuzz and leaves my skin soft with no red rash. I can use it every other day with no issues. I’m still not crazy about the price….and I don’t follow the mfg’s suggestion to always use a fresh blade. I clean the blade with a soft brush and have used it several times. This DermaFLash does for me what no other razor can do. It’s only getting 4 stars because of the price and the limited use blades. But it’s definitely 6****** stars in my opinion

Highly recommend and so much better than cheap razors where you can cut yourself. Super easy to use and my skin felt so silky smooth after using. Love.

good, but doesn’t replace a professional
This definitely won’t give you professional-looking results, and it is insane that each cartridge is one-time use (making them very expensive and very wasteful — although I really don’t know a good way around this, for hygiene purposes). But if you have a hectic schedule and want the convenience of giving yourself a touch-up from home, it’s a good enough product. It’s easy to use, takes up minimal cabinet space, and seems to be well-made.

I’m in my 50’s and wanted to do something about the peach fuzz. I’ve tried salon dermaplaning once before and loved it, but the cost is too huge to do regularly. So I decided to take the plunge and order the DermaFlash for at home dermaplaning. I followed the instructions which are really easy. (I also have a magnifying mirror on a stand. Recommend that – makes it easier.) The results are instant and amazing. My skin is now super smooth, and the hair does not grow back fast or any different.Here are all the pluses:1. It’s super safe and easy2. It leaves your skin super smooth.3. Moisturisers etc go right into your skin so your skin really is younger looking and glowing, instantly.4. Make-up glides on, you need hardly any and it doesn’t clog up.5. Results are really lasting on me, I would only need to do this every 2-3 weeks.This is truly the best purchase I’ve ever made for my skin. For what it does, it’s incredible value for money. The purchase price is almost what I paid for one session of dermaplaning at the beautician. Absolutely delighted as I was very self-conscious of the peach fuzz which I felt was aging. I’m now really tempted to get the pore tool too. (Will be reading the reviews on that also.)Big green light from me if you’re considering Dermaflash Luxe.
