This arrives as a 4 pack in a paperboard box. 2 Vanilla bean & 2 Honey.If giving as a gift, this is easily wrapped as it arrives, or pop it in a tiny gift bag. I would not give this as a stand alone gift. It makes a nice stocking stuffer, or would be a great part of a larger gift or collection of smaller gifts, such as other beauty &/or self-care items. If the recipient is a make-up fan, include other make-up items. If not, how about items for a facial or a spa day? Lip scrub, a face mask or 2. Maybe a salt or sugar scrub & bubble bath? Perhaps throw in a fun headband/hair wrap & maybe a new bathrobe for a full spa experience? Just a real, back-to-basics recipient (I’m talking about you, typical guy & tom-girls)? Pair this up with a nice, comprehensive manicure kit (one with an ear spoon & extractor/pimple popper tool).Burt’s Bees Honey was my go-to lip balm, but it has become almost impossible to source recently, so I’ve been looking for a replacement & I’ve finally found it!This has a standard sized tube with a silky smooth, firm textured balm. Not grainy/bumpy. Not super smooshy. Too many lip balms are so soft that you try to slick it on your lips & you end up with a big glob of balm that’s just too much, but this has the needed firmness that prevents such a thing from happening!The scent & flavor on both the Vanilla bean & the Honey are light, pleasant, & unisex. I’ve run into some honey balms that are downright floral (which I find very unpleasant), so I really appreciate that these are not that way.This set is also comparable in price to what I had been paying for my previous brand, so I’m very happy with this gem of a find!The only change I would make, if I could, would be to have the option of a 4 pack comprised entirely of the Honey flavor/scent. What can I say, I’m a honey gal!I highly recommend!!!EDIT 2-18-23: I just found my former go-to Burt’s Bee’s Honey at the store so picked it up & did a side-by-side comparison. The Burt’s Bee’s is unpleasantly more waxy & pulling/dragging on my lips than this Organic Lip Balm. This has officially become my new go-to! It’s firm enough to keep its integrity but glides on so smoothly, without any drag/pulling, & keeps my lips hydrated, kissably soft (& has a taste that my guy loves)!

I received the package the day after I was notified of its shipment. When I tried the product, it was very smooth and the lip balm was quite soft. There’s no smell that I can detect, and it feels moisturizing. I would give it 5 stars as a product. However, I had to take away a star because one of the lip balms in the packaging came with no cap. I don’t really understand how that happens, since all the other lip balms had a seal on the side. It was also a little dirty, but I think that was from the lip balm moving around in the package itself. I’m a little disappointed, because now I probably have to saran wrap the top or something, since my other used lip balm caps don’t fit this one.3/19/18 EDIT: After using this product for almost a year, I can say one tube lasted me around half a year. Keep in mind, this is with me consistently swiping this on twice a day. I live in a climate which is pretty stable (a dry mid 40s to mid 70s fahrenheit for different seasons) and I find that I like it better in cooler climate. I took it with me on a summer vacation to a humid area (probably 80s – 90s fahrenheit) and the lip balm had a slightly melted texture. Similar to a warm chocolate bar, where it becomes more pliable. The same thing happens when I leave it in a warm pocket for a while. It’s not really a problem, but something to keep in mind for those who are particular about texture.

I tend to get dry, chappy lips this time of the year. Whether I choose lip gloss or lipstick; I’ll put on a layer of balm first. Quality is important. Beeswax is an ideal choice, it’s incredibly moisturizing. 100% natural is appealing; I don’t want to put junk on my lips.The lip balms come packaged in a small, kraft textured box. The 2 flavours, honey & vanilla bean are lovely. Vanilla bean is divine, I love it! Glides on smoothly and last a good few hours without fading away. I’m currently wearing vanilla under my Dior lipgloss and it’s given me super kissable lips. My BF loves it hehe.The only thing that would have made this package even more perfect; would be to include 4 separate flavours. That would be amazing! I’ll settled for 2 for now. Give them a go.. they’re as good as Burt’s Bees. A nice addition to have.
