I just received my Brieftons Borosilicate Glass Containers. LOVE the quality look and feel! Love that they are all the same size & shape – rectangular. This economizes my fridge space vs round shapes that waste that precious space. (Appreciate that they did not force me to purchase a variety SET that includes sizes / shapes that I’m really not looking for. Just what I really want.)The glass containers will not stain, and the high quality, heavy plastic lids are thoroughly cleanable with the snap locks and seals being removable making everything thoroughly cleanable. The glass & plastic are totally super clear – not cloudy at all. They stack perfectly. I tested the security of the lids’ seals by filling with water and shook the dickens out of it every way I could think of – no leakage! The product just oozes quality!I like that they gave the exact dimensions of the containers on Amazon, rather than just the total volume that they hold. The price is GREAT! The set arrived quickly and was nicely packaged. They have given great attention to every detail the consumer wants: full, detailed, accurate information for the consumer to make an informed decision (notice, they really put a LOT of information on Amazon for full disclosure and to help make a good decision. When it arrived there were no surprises aside from the pleasant experience of actually holding them in my hand and seeing and feeling the quality). Great for meal prep
I am a college student and do not have much time to cook every night, therefore, I meal prep on Sunday and store my main course of food in these containers. They are a perfect size, I love the snap on lids (even though the clips sometimes detach), and they are easy to clean. They feel durable, though I have never dropped them. I’m not sure how the lids will do in the dishwasher though because I hand wash mine. Overall, I think the size is great and these are a great product!

Pros: 1) I like that the dishes nest together as do the lids.2) I like having the same size dishes so that there aren’t any awkward gaps in the fridge which wastes space. 3) The lids don’t allow any leakage.4) Quick and simple to hand wash.5) Seals come out and go back in easily to dishwasher wash lids if wanted. Just as easy just to hand wash quick imo.Cons: 1) Sometimes the lids snap down very easily but sometimes they are quite difficult to get to snap down. I haven’t found rhyme or reason to this.7/25 I’ve learned that if the latches won’t go down, to undo them, recenter the lid and try again. It’s usually bc the lid isn’t quite centered over the glass.2) When you nest the dishes there is a slight sandy/gritty sound. I have other glassware that nests and they don’t do this. I don’t know if this would make them more likely to break or not but I didn’t wait to see..*I wanted something thin to put between each dish to hopefully prevent cracking/breaking. I cut tissue paper 11x 4 inches and also 11×3 inches. I laminated the pieces and then put a narrow piece across the wide one like a lowercase t and hot glued them together. I use these to put between the stacked dishes which eliminates the gritty noise. They are easily wipeable and the tissue paper adds a slight pop of color to make them easier to find in the cabinet vs just a piece of lamination.Overall, I liked them enough to go ahead and buy a second set to get rid of more plastic in our cabinet. I’ve had these for a few months now and they have held up well. From my experience, i would reccomend them. Hopefully this is helpful to someone. 🙂

These Briefton glass containers are just perfect, I have been cooking for over 65 years and these beat everything I ever used. The glass is very thick which will help in keeping them in one piece.The lids come apart for cleaning and the fact that you don’t use the lids in the microwave or oven they should not deform. The glass is rounded and smoothed over showing that time was spent making these a high quality product.I can see these lasting for a very long time and the price is fantastic, the size is also perfect for left overs unless you cook ten gallons at a time for four people.You can’t go wrong with these unless you need large storage containers, I will never use plastic again I don’t care who makes it.I almost hate to put food in them…..LOL!

Great size but a couple problems
*update: So as I mentioned in my original review they are very difficult to open. The problem is in the clips. The biggest problem for me at the beginning was that the eclipse kept falling off before I could get the stupid lids closed. Well that is now not my biggest problem. The biggest problem is the clips constantly rub against the edge of the containers. This makes the glass chip. I noticed it the past month or so. So far, I’ve thrown out three of these. Before I can use them each time I have to run my finger along the edge to feel if there is an issue with the edge of it. This last time, I cut my finger open on the chipped glass edge.All in all I would not recommend these. If you are using them on a regular basis, they will chip. If you are using these on a regular basis you will end up with a cut on your hand. Or on your finger. If you are using these on a regular basis you will be disappointed.It’s really a shame because the containers themselves are very sturdy. They are really nice size. The problem is the lids.The lid clips tend to fall off. They are also quite difficult to open.All in all I’m pleased but those two issues don’t bode well for the durability of this product.Great size though!
