My review after owning for 1.5 years
Updating to add that I just got the three panel version for another bathtub in our house and love that one too. You can’t go wrong with this bath pillow. I will go back to this one for years to come.Original review: I have been using bath pillows for years now and have to replace them often due to wear and tear. I think this is my favorite one I’ve owned out of the various kind I’ve had over the years. The biggest pro is the waterproof vinyl material. It makes it super easy to keep clean and free of mold (which has been one of my biggest qualms with other bath pillows in the past). Plus, since the material is water proof, it keeps the surface temperature consistent, so you won’t be jarred from a freezing cold bath pillow on your back due to it holding water on the surface from your last bath. Some people might not be a fan of the thinner profile of this pillow in comparison to others, but I actually find that the slimmer size makes it easier to keep in place for some reason and is more comfortable if you’re like me and aren’t looking to fully lay down in the bath but just have some cushion for your upper back and neck. It’s not too rigid like some can be so it contours around your body.I’ve actually owned this style of bath pillow before, and have found that the only con of these pillows is that the seam starts to slightly open up over time and soak in water, weighing it down and ultimately resulting in me having to replace them. This isn’t necessarily unique to this kind of bath pillow, it’s just the only issue I seem to have with this one.With that being said, after owning this one for 1.5 years and using it for baths for about three to four times a week, this one has begun absorbing water through the seams and it’s time to replace it. Honestly, I think that’s standard for bath pillows, no matter what material they’re made of. So hopefully that timeline will be helpful for someone else who is considering purchasing one!All-in-all, I recommend this bath pillow more than the others, especially at this price point! I hope one day they’ll be able to make the seams more durable but at this price, I can’t be too mad about it.

**UPDATE** – I’ve downgraded my review to 1 star because the pillow lasted for about a month before it developed a hole in the front. I have NO idea how it happened, since I’m not a reptile with sharp spikes down my back, but somehow the thing ripped open.And yes, I sat on it a few times since it completely sucked as a back pillow, but I if my 130 pounds was too much then the seams would have blown, which isn’t what happened. It’s like the plastic just burst on the front. Maybe it started out as a small hole and I only noticed it when it was the size of a quarter? Seems unlikely, but I can’t think of any other explanation. I live alone and it’s not like my Labrador Retriever is using the tub behind my back.So in the trash it went. What a COMPLETE waste of money!**Original Review Below**I really wanted to like this pillow. I was SO excited to try it for the first time, but I have to say that overall I was really disappointed. To be fair, it’s a cushy pillow. It feels like there is a good layer of thick foam inside, so when you lean on it you actually do feel cushioned. That’s the good thing about the pillow.Unfortunately, I didn’t care for anything else about it. I’m not sure if it’s my tub or what, but this thing will NOT stick. I’ve tried adhering it both dry and wet – neither works. At first it seems like it’s stuck, but as soon as you touch the pillow it pops right off. It floats (of course), which means you can’t EVER seem to get the thing adjusted AND lay down at the same time. I take baths to RELAX, not to have a WRESTLING MATCH with a pillow.And, again, I don’t know if it’s my tub, but the contours of the pillow are all wrong. My tub has very little lip and a fairly straight back, so leaning against it is really uncomfortable – sharp little ledge at the neck and zero support for the back. This pillow is cushy, but it’s flat, which means it doesn’t do anything about the fact that I’m still leaning against a pretty flat wall. If I hike the pillow all the way up to support my neck then my back starts aching because there’s no support. If I slide it down (and, oddly enough, turn it upside down), then I get *some* support for my back but end up with a crick in my neck. I swear I’ve tried this thing ten ways to Sunday and just cannot get comfortable with it.It *does* however, make a decent seat cushion in the tub, provided you sit on it BEFORE filling the tub with water. Otherwise it’s a lost cause trying to get your rear end to pin that thing to the bottom of the tub. It’s worse than one of those floating corks in a swimming pool. I’ve never seen ANYTHING made specifically for water that is so determined to have nothing to do with it whatsoever.Such a shame. It seems like a well-made pillow (other than the USELESS suction cups), but it’s just such an odd shape that it’s completely useless as a back cushion, which is what I bought it for. I haven’t returned it for a refund because that’s just weird, right? I mean, I took a bath with the thing. It just seems a little creepy to return it now.Definitely take close look at the dimensions before ordering and see if it looks like it will work with your tub. I wish I had because unfortunately I have to say that I regret this purchase.

good product, well made, and delivered on time

I researched other similar products before buying this one and am glad I did. The suction cups work very well on my conventional bathtub and can be re-positioned to where I want them if I want to change it. The white vinyl is very easy to clean and keep clean as opposed to open weave material on other similar products. Also even though this is made in China like most things are now days there is still an American company that distributes this and you can deal with customer service in North America rather than in China. I was expecting to pay duty fees to Canada but through Amazon Prime it shipped without any additional charges. I find this bath pillow comfortable and am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend that if you have the money, pay a little bit more to get this rather than buy a cheaper bath pillow. You get what you pay for.
